In order for our company to be responsible for your home against a termite
infestation, then we have to treat it. We only use one product, and its called
Termidor. Termidor is the only 100% effective termiticide on the market today. We
have been using it exclusively since its inception 16 years ago. To this date, we have
not had one failure of this product. Our policy includes, not only the structure of your
home, but the contents as well for a $250,000 wood damage replacement guarantee.
As you may know, subterranean termites only need 1/64 of an inch (the thickness of
a sheet of paper) to gain access to your home. Unfortunately, there is not a home that
exists in Florida without stress cracks. Florida is nothing but sand which allows all
homes to shift, settle and crack and provides many avenues for termites to gain
access and leave your home extremely vulnerable to attack.
Subterranean Termites are better known as “the invisible disaster” because you will
never know that you have a problem until they have done a significant amount of
damage because they eat from the inside out. They will eat everything but the paint.
Subterranean termites do more damage than ALL natural disasters combined. Over
5 Billion dollars a year, and that only accounts for those claims that are reported.
Unfortunately, Homeowners insurance DOES NOT cover termite damage, and that’s
the reason why. Termites are so prevalent in Florida. Termites are on this earth for
a reason. To turn dead wood into reusable soil, they just don’t know the difference
between a tree stump and a house. What would the earth look like without them?
Just a bunch of dead wood laying around.
Our technician will dig a small trench or moat all the way around the base of your
home and apply the liquid Termidor in this trench. After the treatment, he will
backfill the trench and try to make it look as though we had not even been here.
Termidor is very environmentally friendly. The active ingredient in Termidor is a
product called Fipronil . Fipronil is used by veterinarians to control fleas and ticks on
domestic animals.
Understanding the fact, that we cant see inside of your walls, but we do know that
termites must return to the soil every 24 48 hours to replenish themselves of
moisture, or they will dehydrate and die. Once our barrier is in place, and termites
pass right through this undetectable barrier, it is a delayed reaction mortality. We
can eliminate a colony in 90 days or less.
The state of Florida recommends that you have your home treated for termites every
five years, and as long as you remain a current client of ours, then we will retreat
your home with Termidor every five years at NO ADDITIONAL cost to you.
This guarantee is transferrable to a new homeowner if you happen to sell your home
while it is covered under our program.
